В переводе с адыгейского "цыпка" означает "обильная рыбой река". Небольшое овальное озеро – 120 м х 40 м. Его площадь 3000 м2. Добраться до него можно за несколько часов от с. Цыпка. Образовалось озеро в результате оползней перекрывших узкую часть долины р. Цыпка, образовавших плотину. В озере стоят несколько стволов высохших деревьев. Здесь можно услышать пение лягушек, и как плещется рыба. Озеро очень красиво в любое время года.
