Уникальность экспозиции заключается в том, то она является дарственной. 167 картин - пейзажей передано художником П.М.Гречишкиным в дар г.Ставрополю. Внутри здания особый микроклимат, позволяющий проводить не только экскурсии, но и концерты. Музыкальные вечера приобрели в городе большую популярность, ибо в музее имеет место синтез трех видов искусства - музыки, живописи и архитектуры.
