Памятник установлен 30 октября 1996 года. Находится в сквере Славы. Памятник - это гранитная стела обмотаная колючей проволокой, на которой написаны слова А. Твардовского: Тут не убавить, не прибавить – так это было на земле. В правом углу стелы, пробитое пулей отверстие - расстрелянная судьба. Во времена сталинских репрессий, около 5 тысяч анапчан подверглись гонениям. Ежегодно, 30 октября, здесь проходят митинги, посвященные памяти этим жертвам.
